Overview
Will practice hands-on procedures to prevent skill decay, increase ED physician comfort/confidence when encountering these scenarios, increase camaraderie/collegiality between ED colleagues and other specialties within our health system. These procedures are geared towards attending EM physicians to serve as a refresher, from skills already learned and mastered in residency. Each course will have a different set of procedures to practice. This course will include: precipitous delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, neonatal resuscitation, UVC, pediatric resuscitation, pediatric airway, pediatric chest tubes and LP

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Practice hands-on rare but critical procedures to prevent skill decay
  2. Increase ED physician comfort and confidence when encountering these scenarios
  3. Increase patient safety
  4. Increase camaraderie and collegiality between ED colleagues and other specialities within our health system as well as other health systems in the region

Registration

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL - Attending Physicians that register before August 10, 2026 - $500.00

After August 10, 2026 - Attending Physicians Registration fee is $749.00
