The quality department participates in state wide quality improvement collaboratives involving Henry Ford's five hospitals, physicians, leadership and nursing, who seek to measure and improve care outcomes across multiple disciplines. It supported by BCBSM as part of its value partnerships program.

1. Sustain practices associated with a Highly Reliable Organization through sharing achievements and trials.
2. Promote collabaration with a group of multi-disciplinary clinical representatives.
3. Identification of knowldege, resources and processes to ensure patient optimization.
